Essential Action is a Washington, D.C.-based corporate accountability group. Click here for our homepage .

Much of our work is focused on international issues, including:

• IMF and World Bank policy;
• Big Tobacco's overseas marketing campaigns;
• The export of dangerous technologies to poor countries; and
• Access to HIV/AIDS and other essential medicines.

We also work on a variety of domestic corporate accountability projects. We are co-sponsors of the Center for Corporate Policy and Halliburton Watch .
