What You Can Do

Since the window of opportunity closes in May, we have to move fast to obtain the remaining funds needed for the clean up. If you want to get involved, you can help by:

• Writing letters to Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell and Brian Attwood of U.S. AID. Both Essential Action and Global Response are sponsoring letter-writing campaigns.

• Signing and/or distributing a petition on the subject. The version posted here asks Ed Rendell to contribute the funds still needed for the cleanup.

• Disseminating information on the subject, both by circulating the URL of this site and by copying and distributing the information presented here. We've prepared a one- page handout on Macintosh in Quark XPress 3.3 for anyone who'd like to download and reproduce it. The file's a 33K Stuffit archive.
