Statement on Philip Morris Name Change Rafael Nery Cigarette Companies want to be free of retaliation. They want to be free
from blame. Absolve We all know that Phillip Morris' intent has always been to make big profit
at the expense of teens lives. Big tobacco has deliberately murdered millions
of people in the United State and worldwide. They are seeking asylum.
What better than a name change to start all over and continue killing
people? What better than a name change to keep the billions of dollars
in profit that they have amassed over the last one hundred years? Philip Morris’ name change does not free my community of death and
disease caused by cigarettes By changing your name you think, you can be freed of the horrors and
purposefully acts you have committed against teenagers. In the last 100
years you have used manipulative and deceptive marketing practices to
target and encourage teens to smoke. Your action delivers a double message!
You know that you are guilty of selling death to us teens and you have
no intention of changing your habits! Even at 16 years of age, I know that if I were to change my name and
not change my actions, society would hold me responsible for whatever
acts I would have perpetrated upon others. Phillip Morris grow up! Accept
responsibility! You do not need to change your name, just amend your ways,
and stop targeting teens! We will not be bought! |
