I am writing to ask that you remove my name from your roster of external reviewers. While a member of your staff did approach me last spring and asked me to serve in this capacity, I never agreed to review grant applications. I told your organization that I was about to transition from my position at the University of California, Davis to a new post at the University of Washington, and that I would be too occupied to taken on additional work. I neither received correspondence from your organization indicating that I had agreed to be a "peer reviewer" nor had I corresponded with you indicating this affiliation.
